Predictmedix (PMED.C) expand Safe Entry Stations with first distributor, SBL Testing Technologies

Predictmedix (PMED.C) announced the expansion of their COVID-19 Safe Entry Stations with the institution of their first distributor, SBL Testing Technologies in partnership with JUICEWORKS.

SBL is an expert in workplace safety, previously specializing in industrial clients in the energy and resources sector. They will operate in Canada, the US, and the Caribbean, where they already have a strong presence and established partnerships with companies such as Sparta Group (SPA.V).

The Safe Entry Stations combine multi-spectral cameras and a proprietary AI system to quickly identify symptoms of COVID-19.

“The market positioning of SBL in workplace health safety and testing technologies provides us with an ideal partner to scale SAFE ENTRY both for infectious disease screening along with impairment screening all over North America and the Caribbean. Furthermore, the executive team at SBL has a clear vision and action plan for SAFE ENTRY which aligns with the long-term vision of Predictmedix,” commented Dr. Rahul Kushwah, COO of Predictmedix.

SBL has been heavily involved in COVID-19 testing, offering high-quality rapid COVID-19 antibody and antigen tests. SBL has also been offering fast and reliable drug and alcohol tests which eliminate any possibility of human error in reading or interpreting results.

“SBL is an ideal partner to bring this technology to market. They have a unique perspective on the space, having been immersed in it for many years, and appreciate the value of the solution as a long-term risk mitigation tool,” commented Jonathan Auger, President & Founder of JUICEWORKS.

The Safe Entry Stations combine multi-spectral cameras and a proprietary AI system to quickly identify symptoms of COVID-19. The station scans individuals and provides either a green light or a red light. Those who receive a red light are then given a rapid COVID-19 test for further investigation.

The Predictmedix SBL JUICEWORKS partnership is aiming to provide different solutions for different circumstances.

The Predictmedix SBL JUICEWORKS partnership is aiming to provide different solutions for different circumstances. They are offering mobile units for events, like they are doing at Hockeyfest this summer, which will begin on June 25 in London, ON, and has 9 cities scheduled on their tour. They also want to offer solutions for outdoor spaces that all can use, offering wheelchair-accessible ramps and automatic doors. They also plan on working with individual buildings to provide stations with customized finishes to suit the buildings or lobbies they are in.

“SAFE ENTRY is an incredible screening technology for both short and long-term pandemic response / business continuity strategies. The ability to objectively screen for infectious disease symptoms non-invasively and in seconds presents an entirely new first layer of risk mitigation. Albeit responding to the current COVID-19 pandemic and further waves or variants, or planning for future infectious diseases that could impact business continuity, SAFE ENTRY immediately becomes a critical risk mitigation tool in today’s workplace,” stated Rich Robillard, Managing Director of SBL.

Following the news, Predictmedix is up half a cent, and is currently trading at $0.335.

Full disclosure: Predictmedix is an Equity Guru marketing client.
